English Version
English: Source, Buddhist Bible by Dwight Goddard, 1932 (copyright not renewed) based on the translation by Mr. Wong Mou-lam.
Link: https://www.sacred-texts.com/bud/bb/index.htm
The English version was 9 chapters and was extracted from The Buddhist Bible. The Spanish version was 10 chapters and was apparently based on a different source, although they are very similar. The Spanish version has been rearranged on this websiteso so that the chapters correspond to the English version. No material was excluded. The Spanish version has a much more lengthy preface.
Other versions available in English are by Thomas Cleary (1998), Christmas Humphreys (1973), and Charles Luk (1962, as "The Altar Sutra", from Ch'an and Zen Teaching, series 3: Terebess.Hu)

Spanish Version
Translated to Spanish by Rev. Yin Zhi Shakya, OHY. Also based on the translation by Mr. Wong Mou-lam, nerly verbatum to the English version but contains additional material and the chapters are reordered.
They are re-positioned here on SelfDefinition.Org in order to faciliate comparision with the English version.
Yin Zhi Shakya borrows the preface of Christmas Humphries, but the extent of her reliance on his version could not be found.
